in the past year i have watched aspen pull together and bring out some wonderful pieces of work that i have no doubt turner was involved in before his death, and i want to tell them i think its amazing that they have accomplished so much in his name, not allowing the sadness of losing someone so close to them take over. all of the aspen team have worked hard and have kept turner alive in so many ways. congratulations guys. you've got a very happy fan over here in the uk.
the other day i cam across a quote by gandhi- 'live as if you were to die tomorrow. learn as if you were to live forever.' i believe michael turner lived his life in this way. we should all learn from people like this. i've always wanted to skydive but have been a bit afraid, but september last year i did it for charity, and i remember thinking about him when i was about to jump. the people i've lost in the last year, whom i've known or just watched from a distance, have really shown me what life is about. i really want to make the most of it. sorry this has nothing to do with art, its just something i wanted to say
